As an expert valuer recently swanning around the harbour I am now back on the tools again, and this venture had me swanning around the harbour!
Sadly this time there was no Gin and Tonic, just my trusty clipboard and camera.
My project for this soiree onto the water was all about transport, and waste. This expert valuer project was assessing a barge, whose job for the last 12 months has been to literally ship spoils from the new Metro Trains harbour crossing at Barangaroo.
As an expert valuer I had to consider amongst many things, that the cost of getting the barge here from China, which was close to 25% of the cost of the actual barge.
Its role is close to completion and will soon to head off for its next project.
